Denison Ridge is a stunning wedding venue situated in Washington State and is completely and incandescently (a line from the Pride and Prejudice movie – I have always wanted to use that incandescently word!) beautiful.

Denison Ridge is the perfect place for those looking for a country-garden setting. Plus, it has a fabulous view of the valley and surrounding mountain ranges. The venue is unique because there are so many ways you can style it to your tastes. Perfect for the DIY bride or the person that chooses professional wedding coordination.

Why Denison Ridge?
Denison Ridge is run by our family and we are dedicated to making sure your questions are answered in a timely manner and problems are solved quickly and efficiently. You know how the saying goes ” If you’re happy, I’m happy too!”
The grounds are a mix of wild flowers, ornamental grasses and pine trees which truly add to the venues unique charm.
Our venue was started in 2011 and continues to welcome customers every summer starting the end of May and ending the first weekend in October. What can you expect at Denison Ridge? A lot.

Bridal room
The bridal room is large and very accommodating. The 6 X 6 mirror will show off that stunning wedding dress and let you know, hey girl, you’re ready! The make-up bar is a great addition to this room also. Bring your favorite hair and make-up artist to our venue, they are welcome here.

And, the groomsman cottage is also large and sports a huge mirror or two. There is ample space for that last minute touch up before – here comes the bride! Enjoy the couch along with table and chairs, and oh, the Pac Man game. Get in on some competition while waiting on the bride. Don’t forget there’s comfy outside patio furniture to lounge at too.

There are several options for location of the bar and dessert area also. The Ridge has plenty of room so there is never congestion to worry about.
Denison Ridge has been wired so your DJ’s sound system is ready to go, plus, there are lights everywhere on the venue property.

Ceremony area
Our ceremony area is captivating! The venue has many décor items to drape the ceremony pergola with or you are welcome to bring in your own. Oh, and this brings me to our Magic Shed, as named by one of or past brides. Thank you Becky!

Many of our – free to you – décor items are stored in this Magic Shed. Chalkboards, wooden signs, beautiful flower garlands or greenery vines. Old wooden doors and wreaths to choose from too. Wine barrels, even outdoor heaters if needed, and so much more.
A big industrial style pole barn stands on the property for those rainy days or also acts as a dancing area or photo-booth area. Denison Ridge provides tables, linens and chairs too.

Hi Teri!
I was wondering What you do about mosquitoes, hot weather and cold weather?
Hi Cheryl,
Great questions. We don’t have mosquitoes by the end of May when our wedding season starts (very rare if we do). It’s a spring thing.
For hot weather we have shade everywhere and a barn for shade too if the bride would like to use it, they never do because they want the view area(which is not shaded until evening),lol! In July and early August evening weddings are best.
For the cold – The last weekend we are open is the first weekend in October which is usually beautiful. However, being done by 4:00 is best. When the sun goes down it is cold. We also have patio heaters. They work best in the barn (it’s open to the view) but can be brought out on the lawn. Hope that helps.
Blessings,
Teri 🙂
Thanks Terry!
No Mosquitoes? That would feel like heaven!
They are here in Wisconsin Spring till frost.
Just Aweful!
I would have to spray
I love your new project ideas, best of luck!
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl! I hate mosquitoes, lol. Spraying would work for me if I had that issue. I don’t know how you do it? It would drive me crazy. The project is in full swing, can’t wait to see it done. We need the luck, thank you.?
Teri 🙂
